head chef required in the Ambleside area for a Gastro pub style kitchen, fresh food and of a 1 rosette level, live in available. This head chef role will run a team of 5 in the kitchen. head chef upto £40k with live in available if required
The role
As a head chef you will be running the kitchen, you will manage a team of 5 chefs, ensure everything runs smoothly in the kitchen. You will do the food orders, the cleaning rotas, ensure the weekly cleaning is done by the kp. You will also ensure the chefs are trained and each section is ready for service. being a small team, it will be a hands on role as well as running the pass. This role will include all the normal head chef duties
Experience
We are looking for a head chef from a fresh food background as a head chef or a senior sous chef looking to step upto a head chef role.
