THE COMPANY

Here at The Thrive Hive we are currently working with one of our favourite clients to help them find the perfect Supply Chain Manager for their UK Head Office. They are a highly respected, established organisation with offices across The UK providing services to the construction industry.

THE ROLE

It is essential that you possess extensive experience in supply chain mapping, management and procurement, with a proven track record of implementing process improvements. This is a hybrid role – working from home with regular visits the HQ in Brentford. You will also be expected to visit other sites in Surrey / Sussex on occasion to meet with stakeholders within the business.

The role will concentrate on policies and processes along with ensuring that those employees currently carrying out the procurement continue to do so within the remit developed by you on joining the company. You will not necessarily be responsible for the procurement yourself, rather managing the person who currently performs these duties.

THE PERSON

In order to succeed in this role you will possess excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills, along with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. In order to be successful in this role you will have a deep understanding of supply chain mapping and risk mitigation strategies.

You will need to have a great background in supply chain management, supply chain mapping, and procurement, preferably within the construction, building materials, manufacturing, or similar industries. Additionally, you should previous experience in implementing and managing purchase order systems.

In order to be considered your CV must demonstrate previous experience in supply chain mapping or implementation of PO systems, which form considerable elements of the role.

THE PACKAGE
