CNC Miller / 5 minute drive from Abingdon Centre / Up to £21ph starting rate

Are you an experienced CNC Miller seeking your next opportunity in a professional, cutting-edge environment? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled CNC Miller to join their forward-thinking team. This full-time role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art CNC technology in a range of high-precision industries such as Medical, Nuclear, and Semi-Conductor.

CNC Miller Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling Machines, ensuring processes are safe and efficient.
Read and interpret engineering drawings for programming, setting, and manufacturing to deliver right-first-time products.
Create layout sheets to document tooling, setups, and machine parameters, enabling consistent and repeatable outcomes for yourself and others.
Maintain high standards of work independently, meeting deadlines and self-verifying the quality of work using a variety of measuring tools.
Assist and train other operators, sharing your expertise and skills.CNC Miller Profile
A time-served apprenticeship is preferred but not essential.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in programming and operating 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines.
Proficient in Heidenhain controls; additional experience with Fanuc controls is an advantage.
Familiar with operating Doosan, Matsuura, and Mazak machines.
Able to produce parts to tight tolerances, around 20?m.
Experience milling large parts (up to 2.5m).Salary & Benefits
Competitive hourly rate of up to £21 per hour.
Full-time role (39 hours per week).
