£50k-£55k plus benefits

Are you an experienced structural design engineer looking to work at a senior level?

Our client has an industry leading team and are looking to bring in a senior engineer who is hard working and driven.

They specialise in interesting projects across a range of sectors including residential, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy and more.

As Senior Structural Design Engineer you would assist the Associate Director in management of the structural engineering team and manage projects. You will work in collaboration with senior stakeholders and clients, attending site visits and undertaking structural surveys, investigations, and repair schemes for structures.

To be considered for this role, you will most likely have a degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering and will ideally be chartered with ICE, or IStructE or equivalent or progressing towards chartership. Additionally, you would be experienced in the design of foundations, masonry, concrete including detailing, steel and timber structures.

You would be able to show your experience in the residential market including traditional construction as well as framed structures. Preferably your experience will include structural investigation and reporting in relation to 'Building Safety Act' and be familiar with Tekla software (Tekla designer and Tedds) and ideally with AutoCAD/Revit.

Our client is looking for someone who can show strong leadership skills to establish authority and influence both internally and externally.
