White Raven Resourcing are acting as an Employment Business in relation to Permanent Recruitment Services. 

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager experienced in Warehousing to support their growth plans. The company are a leading 3rd party logistics provider, working with many household brand names. 

The main responsibility is to drive business growth by promoting and selling the companies wide range of services to various sectors and industries. This involves developing and executing strategies to generate leads, conducting market research to identify new opportunities, implementing effective sales processes, and building strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategies to promote and sell the company's services, aligning with overall business objectives.

Proactively identify, target and secure new business opportunities through direct sales activities, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.

Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine and adapt sales approaches for maximum impact.

Generate leads through proactive outreach efforts and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.

Implement effective sales processes and techniques to increase productivity and maximise sales conversions. 

Utilise cost calculation methods to tailor customer rates and proposals effectively, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Generate and distribute specific reports as required to track sales performance and provide insights for improvement.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Operations and Customer Service, to ensure seamless delivery of services proposed.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and achievement of sales targets.

Requirements

Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Proven experience in business development within the logistics industry.

Demonstrated track record of achieving high-volume sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

Working knowledge of CRM tools and proficiency in sales processes and techniques.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field ideal. 

Successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.

Benefits

Hours: (Apply online only) Monday to Friday.
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
Car Allowance: £5000 per annum.
Pension.
