Position: Learning Disabilities Manager

Location: Worksop, UK

Type: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum

Are you a passionate and experienced manager looking for a new challenge in the field of learning disabilities?

Do you have a strong understanding of CQC regulations and a proven track record in managing large services? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Worksop, UK.

As the Learning Disabilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large service that supports individuals with learning disabilities. You will lead a team of dedicated staff and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to service users.

The ideal person for this Learning Disabilities Manager position:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the learning disabilities sector
CQC registration and strong knowledge of CQC regulations
Experience in managing large services with a high number of service users
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of person-centered care and ability to implement it in practice
A good knowledge suitable activities based in and around Worksop

Key Responsibilities for this Learning Disabilities Manager will include:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing support and guidance when needed
Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Monitor and review care plans, ensuring they are person-centered and regularly updated
Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the service operates within financial constraints
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices within the service
Handle any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with other managers and professionals to improve service delivery and outcomes for service users
