Silicon Photonics

We are hiring several photonics experts for a highly successful early-phase startup that develop next-gen integrated circuits. There are several roles including; Head of Characterisation, Process Engineer, Application Engineer, Photonics Design Engineer, Characterisation Engineer and Project Manager.

They have already won several multimillion franc grants and are gearing up to large-scale manufacturing at the end of this year. Their chips have a wide range of uses, particularly in quantum computing, and satellite communications markets.

They are set to offer their services for prototyping and production in the US at the end of the year and need to build their R&D team to keep up with demand. In these roles you will be involved in advanced photonic projects for a range of clients, participating in international and regular EU funded innovation projects. They have several patents for photonic and electro-optical systems and sub-systems which have already garnered them a name in the semiconductor industry in Switzerland.

They are offering photonics experts a generous salary and stock options, which could be highly lucrative for early team members.
