Our client is not just any company. They are a progressive force setting sights on becoming the "best in class" Electronics Manufacturing Services partner for OEMs and product innovators. It operates contract electronics manufacturing facilities in the UK and Europe.

In line with their recent acquisitions and expansion, they are now looking for an exceptional leader, a new Chief Operating Officer (COO), to integrate into their high-calibre Board and lead their manufacturing sites into the future.

As the COO, you will hold the helm of the group's manufacturing operations. Your strategic mindset and ability to adapt financial information will drive consistent benefits for the organisation. In hand with an exceptional team, you will shape their operations and elevate their global standing.

What You'll Do:

Lead operations with a vision, ensuring all group manufacturing sites operate cohesively and efficiently.
Manage customers with volatile demand spikes.
Work towards increasing the customer base by supporting the sales team with improved offerings.
Innovate processes and frame the operational strategies, positioning our client as frontrunners in the industry.
Be an instrumental part of the dynamic Board, contributing to broader strategic decisions and direction.
Play a key role in developing leadership teams across the group's manufacturing and supply chain operations.· You must have a broad understanding of managing operations across multiple countries, particularly in the post-Brexit landscape, and will need to streamline operations across the company's European and UK sites.

Your profile:

· Graduate calibre education in engineering, manufacturing or business combined with additional more recent postgraduate or professional qualifications.

· Executive level experience gained within a best-in-class electronics manufacturing organisations.

· Strong commercial and business acumen, with a track record of implementing, reporting and improving performance metrics

· A consistent track record in leading contract electronic manufacturing operations across multiple sites in the UK/Europe/Internationally including mechanical engineering

· Familiarity with global supply chain management in electronics manufacturing

· Experience of Lean manufacturing and engineering principles and industry 4.0 technologies

· Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance within electronics manufacturing

· Solid ERP experience including advanced business planning.
