Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Communications Officer to join Tameside Council's National Anti-Fraud Network (NAFN) Department on an initial 2-3 month temporary contract. This is a short-term contract to cover sickness leave.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role:

There will be 6 roadshows across the country that they need to organise. everything from room hires, to ensuring invitations are sent, delegates are signed up and ready, rooms are prepared, refreshments and equipment's are booked, organised, and ready etc.

Main Purpose and Responsibilities

The Membership and Communications Officer will work closely with the NAFN Membership and Communications Manager, providing digital, editorial, creative and operational support. They will primarily be expected to organise and support delivery of a series of National Roadshow events. This will include:

* Supporting the NAFN Membership and Communications Manager in delivering the service transformation strategy and plan;

* Drafting, editing and publishing marketing and communication materials, including newsletters, website and social media content for distribution to NAFN members, partners and stakeholders;

* Proofreading and editing internal and external communications, reports and other correspondence;

* Assisting with the dissemination of newsletters and alerts;

* Developing online surveys, analysing and reporting on responses;

* Supporting the development, promotion and organisation of National Roadshows, Annual Conference and training events;

* Maintaining and further developing the CRM system to provide updates to the Membership and Communications Manager and Leadership Team;

* Ensuring that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standards;

Requirements:

* Must possess excellent writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content

* 2+ years previous experience in a communications or marketing role

* Strong communicator who can work independently and as part of a team

* Active involvement in production and dissemination of communication and marketing materials

* Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and coordinate events accurately
