A fast-growing accountancy firm in Cambridgeshire, within reach of Ely, Newmarket, St Ives, Bury St Edmunds, and Cambridge are seeking to recruit into a Trainee to Semi-Senior Accountant and / or Bookkeeper position. This firm are able to offer Hybrid and Flexible working, you will only need to go into the office 2-3 days a week.

Due to the flexibility, the salary is negotiable, it will of course depend on experience and qualification level.

Hybrid role with the flexibility to be in the office roughly 50% of the time after an initial 2-week training period. (first 3 months recommended)

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping

VAT Returns

Accounts preparation right from receiving records to draft stage

Auditing (flexible, this can be included or not, dependent on your preference and experience)

Personal Tax returns

Corporation Tax returns

Very occasional administrative support

Requirements:

The firm are looking for candidates with experience working in accountancy practice who are ideally studying towards the AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification
