Supply Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £145-£170 per day

Location: Brent

Job Type: Part Time, Long Term

About the role:

We’re seeking a passionate Supply Teacher to join TeachNow and work within schools across Brent, London. This part-time, long-term position provides an excellent opportunity for teachers who want to teach on their terms, with the added benefit of a competitive daily rate and a rewarding, flexible schedule.

As a Supply Teacher in Brent, you’ll be delivering pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils, ensuring that their learning continues smoothly in your absence. Your role will involve managing the classroom, fostering a positive learning environment, and offering support tailored to the needs of each student. This is an ideal role for qualified teachers who enjoy variety and wish to have a balance between their personal and professional life.

Application Requirements: Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and work independently.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 1 students.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
• Ensure effective classroom management and behavior control.
• Provide support to students with diverse learning needs, promoting their academic and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity in student learning.
