Full Time, Permanent
Up to £43,000 P.A + 10% Bonus

In a nutshell…

Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Spalding who promote growth and development.

As Production Manager you will play an active role in delivering the production plan makings sure that standards are met, and the line leaders are taking responsibility for product quality during the manufacturing process. You will manage shift KPI's, accidents and near misses whilst identifying training requirements and carrying out performance reviews, attending absence meetings and dealing with disciplinary issues.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry at a Production Manager / Shift Manager or Supervisor level.

What's involved for the Production Manager…

Manage reporting Line Leaders who oversee circa 200 Line Operatives
Ensure production standards are met
Develop, coach and mentor direct reports
Make sure that line staff take full responsibility for the manufacturing process
Deliver and drive forward 5S standards
Manage shift KPI's
Promote HSE and hygiene standards
Identify training requirements
Provide advice, support, and guidance to Line Leaders.
Identify areas of improvement, opportunity and innovation.What you'll need…

MUST have food manufacturing experience
MUST have Production Manager / Supervisor experience
Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S experience preferred
Proven management experience coaching and developing
Experience carrying out performance review, grievances and disciplinariesBenefits for the Production Manager…

Up to £43,000 P.A
Pension scheme 8% combined
Private Medical Insurance
2,2,3 shift pattern 06:00 - 18:00
25 days + 8 bank holidays
