Pay: £80 - £95 per day

The school looking to hire an Therapy Assistant are highly valued in their area as well as sector
They offer differentiated education to students whose main diagnosis is Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)
They offer rich curriculums which are individually personalised to cater to the specific needs of the students
They encourage a positive and fun learning environment to ensure that learning can be made concrete
Offer training in Applied Behaviour Analysis so that you can help the children as best as possibleThe role as an ABA Assistant:

Your main duty as an ABA assistant will be to support the students in the classroom - this may be on a 1:1 basis or in a small group
You will facilitate a safe learning environment and help with the children access their learning in a positive way
You will be supported by the class teacher and have the advantage of being exposed to a variety of different therapeutic techniques and other professionals
The class sizes are small so you will have the opportunity to give each child the attention they deserveThe successful Therapy Assistant:

Will be calm, passionate about making a difference and positive
Will have some experience working with children
Will understand the importance of safeguarding
Will have a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain oneGraduates with degrees in a relevant field are most welcome to apply to this post. This is a wonderful opportunity for those individuals who are aspiring psychologists, educational psychologists, counsellors, therapists or behavioural analysts. Those with childcare background or a background in sport, drama, art or music are most welcome to apply.
