Vehicle Technician – Ripley – Independent - £40,000 OTE

Our client, a family owned independent garage in Ripley, is seeking an experienced Technician to join their thriving garage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into an independent garage environment and work closely within a team. 

Description:

Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 Basic + £40,000 OTE
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm 
Saturday Rota: NO SATURDAYS
22 days holiday + 30 mins for lunch

PensionKey Responsibilities: 

Diagnose and fix vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
Meet with customers to understand and address their problems.
Perform diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards.
Use diagnostic equipment and road testing to ensure quality work.
Complete service documentation according to warranty and dealership requirements.
Maintain workshop housekeeping standards and proper use of tools.
Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent customer service and share best Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a dealership setting as a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic (or similar)
License: Valid Driving License required; MOT license preferred but not essentialJob Type: Permanent
