Structural Engineer

Central Edinburgh

£35,000 - £45,000

Are you a passionate Structural Engineer eager to work on unique, award-winning projects? Our client offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic design office in central Edinburgh, just a short 15-minute walk from Princes Street.

As a Structural Engineer with this boutique firm, you'll engage with a diverse portfolio, including the refurbishment of Carrubbers Church, West Calder Museum (Co-operative Discovery Centre), various historic castles, high-end domestic extensions, and the Boathouse at Loch Ard, among others.

The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit team of 15 innovative engineers. You'll have the creative freedom to influence design processes and, occasionally, lead specific projects. This role is ideal for a problem solver with a genuine interest in conservation and historic building design.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and influence the design process
Lead projects and collaborate with colleagues
Work independently and manage your own workloadYou will report directly to the two directors, who are committed to providing support and mentoring while fostering a collaborative office environment. While working from home is an option, the directors believe in a hands-on approach to maintain a cohesive team atmosphere.

£35,000 - £45,000
