Science Graduate

Location: Lewisham
Salary: £85 - £110 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Long Term

Have you recently graduated with a science degree and are eager to begin your career in education? GSL Education London are looking for a committed Science Graduate to become part of a vibrant team at a client secondary school in Lewisham. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a Science Graduate to acquire valuable experience and significantly contribute to students' educational development.

Roles of a Science Graduate:

Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging science lessons.
Support the teaching and learning of science across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students understand scientific concepts.
Help maintain and organise the science laboratory and equipment.
Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements of a Science Graduate:

A degree in a science-related field.
Passion for science and education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to support students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
