Electrical Trainer (No Training Experience Required)

Rochester + Occasional Travel

£50,000 + Mileage Allowance (Company Vans Available on Occasion) + Company Shares (Employee-Owned Business) + Bonuses + Expenses Paid For + 25 Days Holiday

Do you come from an Industrial background and have Electrical or Electronics knowledge?

Are you looking for a career change to step off the tools, boost your earnings and make a difference in peoples' lives by training the next generation of engineers?

This well-established, employee-owned company has a long history in the engineering industry and a strong reputation, working alongside large companies and providing specialist training across the UK and overseas.

In this role, you will deliver short training courses to small groups of engineers, primarily within the local area but also across the UK. This will vary from 1-day courses to 10-day courses. You will also be responsible for designing new training courses and play an important part in shaping the company's training systems.

The ideal candidate for this position will have Electrical or Electronics experience in an Industrial environment and possess excellent technical knowledge. They will possess strong interpersonal & communication skills and be coachable & willing to learn. Previous training experience is not required; this role is ideal for someone who wants to make a career change and take on a new challenge.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer of an Industrial background who wants to come off the tools, help the next generation of engineers and make a difference in other peoples' lives,

The Role:

Trainer/Instructor Role
Delivering short courses to small groups of engineers
Occasional travel involved (company car/mileage allowance provided)
Designing brand new training courses

The Person:

Electrical/Electronics knowledge & experience
Industrial background
Strong technical expertise & knowledge
No previous training experience required
Willing to occasionally travel & work evenings/weekends
