Position: Structural Technician
Focus: Large Structural Steel Projects and Connection Design
Salary: £30,000

Are you a talented and detail-oriented Structural Technician with a passion for structural steel projects? Join our dynamic team in the West Midlands, where you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and modelling complex steel buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Modelling: Use industry-leading software to create detailed 3D models of complex steel structures.
Steel Connection Design: Develop efficient and cost-effective steel connection solutions in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Technical Drawings: Prepare and review detailed fabrication and construction drawings.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and fabricators to ensure seamless project delivery.
Problem Solving: Address design challenges and provide innovative solutions for structural steel projects.
What We’re Looking For

Experience: Proven experience in structural steel detailing, design, and connection modelling.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in software such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural steel codes, standards, and best practices.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design and documentation.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Education: Relevant qualifications in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
