Description

A successful, privately-owned technology business in North Cambridge, Cambridgeshire are now looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D team. They design and manufacture products based around thermal technology that are used in the security, aerospace, military and industrial industries.

Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer role:

* The design and development of new and existing products, which includes analogue and digital circuit design and PCB layout

* Contribute to project development

* Work closely with the mechanical, software and production engineers on the design and development of products

Key skills required for the Electronics Design Engineer role:

* Analogue and digital circuit design

* PCB layout / design

* A knowledge of EMC

* Good understanding of various technologies including system design, FPGAs (VHDL or Verilog), DSPs, motor control or opto-electronics would be beneficial but not essential
