Dunbar Education is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher to join an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 mixed academy in Poole.

Position Details

Job Title: Music Teacher
Location: Poole
School Type: Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 mixed academy
Contract: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: January 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (MPS/UPS)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a vibrant Music department. The successful candidate will have the chance to inspire students through the power of music and contribute to the school's thriving arts program.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and dynamic Music lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
Foster a love of music and creativity among students
Assess and monitor student progress in both practical and theoretical aspects of music
Organize and participate in school concerts, performances, and extracurricular music activities
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall music curriculumIdeal Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified Music Teacher with a passion for music education
Have strong knowledge of various musical genres and teaching methodologies
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Show commitment to fostering student engagement and achievement
Be able to work collaboratively within a team environment
