Electronic Technician

The Company

An industry leading engineering business, who design, manufacture, service and sell special purpose testing machinery to a wide range of industries.

The Role

Responsible for the assembly and test of electronic components ensuring they meet the required performance and quality levels with additional responsibility for aiding the improvement of processes for the assembly and test of further products as directed by the Team leader.

The work will include the following:

* Correct assembly and testing of associated test load string and test fixtures and jigs.

* Fault diagnosis of units under test.

* Electronic testing and fault diagnosis to component level.

* Quality focus and good attention to detail for small assemblies

* A detailed knowledge of hand tools, tool selection.

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must

1. An Electro-mechanical / Electronic Wiring background.

2. Proven experience with assembly and disassembly of electro-mechanical componentry and / or fine wiring / soldering skills

3. Proven experience with the use of basic test equipment from the above industries including fault diagnosis

4. A strong ability to read and understand Engineering, Assembly and Manufacturing drawings

5. An Electro-mechanical / Electronic Wiring background.
