Pay: £13.50 PAYE or £17.55 Umbrella

Working hours 08.00 - 14.00

Length: temporary, ongoing, potentially going temp to perm

Opus People Solutions are excited to recruit on behalf of Vertas for an experienced temporary Cook.

You will support the kitchen team in ensuring all food is correctly prepared and presented to customers to the correct standards and quality. Delivering excellent customer service will be second nature to you and you will pride yourself on creating and maintaining exceptional customer relationships.

Main duties:

Working and supporting the Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus
Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes that are interesting, well prepared, and presented to delight the customer
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit marginsWe are looking for an experienced cook with Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, who has a sound understanding of current food hygiene practices and legislation, knowledge in preparation and cooking of healthy, high-quality meals for a range of customers needs, great team player, working as part of wider catering team, flexible to work when required via a rota system.
