Reeson Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic independent primary school based in Sydenham from January 2025.

If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting children with SEN and looking for a full-time position from the new year, please apply!

Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Sydenham Hill
Pay: £85 - £100 per day
Start Date: January 2025

End date: July 2025

Job type: Full-time, long-term

About the role - Teaching Assistant:

Teaching Assistant role within a Year 4 class
Support a child with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis
Create exciting and stimulating learning resources
Support in creating effective behaviour management plans to promote positive behavioural progress
Lead small group intervention sessions to boost academic progress
Help to foster a positive learning environment

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs
Ability to build positive relationships with young children and staff
Passionate about supporting children's development and learning
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
