Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Islington

Pay: £85 - £100 per day

Start Date: January 2025

Contract: Full-time, providing 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil

Work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, supporting a Year 3 child with SEN (ASD).
Follow the pupil's EHCP, implementing strategies to meet specific needs.
Support the child's engagement, confidence, and social development in the classroom.
Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
Help create an inclusive, positive learning experience for the pupil.Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:

Prior experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, is ideal.
A patient, empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact.
Ability to adapt and be flexible in meeting the pupil's needs.
