Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

Location: Candidates must be flexible with travel to community sites throughout Kent and Essex

Salary: £30,000

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

Deliver Entry Level Functional Skills Maths and English to groups of circa 15 unemployed learners, at a range of hubs across Kent and Essex.
Embedding of Maths and English into vocational curriculum that meets learners needs.
Design and deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.Essential Criteria:

Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2.
Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
Must hold own Functional Skills in Maths and English / GCSE equivalents.
Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
The successful candidate must be engaging, and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and teach learners.
Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.Please note:
