Description

We are currently seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join an extremely busy logistics firm in Witham, Essex.

This role is temporary to permanent, offering a fast paced, varied role where they will be opportunities to learn and progress. Operating the forklift in a safe and timely manner to unload lorries and put stock away.

Applicants will need a CURRENT accredited Counterbalance Forklift Ticket. This role will involve working on and off the Forklift, applicants need to be aware that elements of the role will require physical work, including order picking and packing.

Duties of the Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative:

Daily use of Counterbalance Forklift within the yard and warehouse
Order picking and packing - using scanning systems
Loading and unloading lorries
Undertaking manual handling duties as required
Use of pump trucks
Assisting with the returns and maintaining accurate stock controlThe ideal Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative:

Previous experience with Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
Current Counterbalance Forklift Ticket
Experience within fast paced Forklift driving
Looking for a temporary to permanent role
Able to carry out physical workHours: Mon - Fri on a weekly rotating shifts (6am - 3pm and 12pm - 9pm)

£12.50 - £14ph (depending on hours worked)
