Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with good knowledge of fabricated products?

Would you like to work in a business critical role and on a challenging project?

If so, then this would be a great opportunity for you. Part of a global group, my client design and manufacture specialist equipment for an international client base. Investing heavily in growing the business, they are now expanding their manufacturing department, and are seeking a Manufacturing to join their team.

The objective of the Manufacturing Engineer is to support the implementation and running of a brand new fabrication cell to manufacture a new component. Once the cell is up and running, your role with then evolve into process improvement and product development.

The responsibilities of this position will include:

* Define and procure jigs, fixtures, tooling, gauging and lifting equipment

* Lead and manage projects, taking responsibility for delivery, project planning, execution and cost

* Creation and maintenance of supporting documentation to include Manufacturing Routings, Layouts and instructions

* Creation of Control Plans, Process flow charts, PFMEA, standard operating procedures and standard work

* Define, perform and implement investigations into non-conformance through root cause analysis and corrective actions

* Some NC Programming

* International and Local Travel to meet Suppliers

If you have the following experience please consider applying:

* Good understanding of fabrication and machining processes

* Experience of tooling design and specification/procurement

* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques

* CAPEX management would be beneficial

* Excellent communication skills

* Excellent problem solving mind set

* Different experience levels will be considered as long as the core knowledge can be evidenced

* Must of Right to Work in the UK without VISA sponsorship
