First People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering contractor based in Dundee and Dunfermline. Our client, an employee-owned company with over 160 employees, undertakes civils projects valued between £500k and £10m across the Central Belt of Scotland.

Position: Senior Site Engineer
Location: Tayside and surrounding areas
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Position Summary and Purpose: We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer with significant Civils experience to join our client's team, working on various size projects in Tayside and the surrounding area. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a forward-thinking contractor and be rewarded for their contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with customers, clients, and the design team to ensure correct and timely setting out information.
Keep detailed and accurate records of all setting out information.
Plan setting out in advance according to construction programmes.
Coordinate public utilities and obtain records of existing services.
Obtain permits and warrants.
Assist site management with material take-offs.
Comply with the company's Quality Procedure Manual.
Supervise the quality of works as delegated by site management.
Plan work areas, identifying requirements for temporary works and plant.
Assist the commercial department in re-measuring works and ensuring additional works and design variations are recorded and reimbursed.
Perform other duties as assigned by site management.
