Software Engineer

£38,000 to £42,000

Colchester

Hybrid (1 Day On-site Per Week)

An excellent job opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join a longstanding organisation based in Essex.

The job role offers a chance to be part of a large DevOps transformation as well as an upcoming major cloud migration.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in .NET as well as familiarity with DevOps practices

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implementation, and testing of repository databases
Development and maintenance of SQL and NoSQL data storage components
Implementation and adherence to best practice secure development processes
Actively contribute to project meetings and suggest improvements
Design and develop data-driven websites

Key Skills:

C# and .NET Core
SQL and NoSQL databases
Git
HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React Desirable)
Agile Methodologies

This is a hybrid working role, with company headquarters located in Colchester so you should be prepared to travel.
