Maintenance Engineer required for a permanent night shift paying up to £23.60 per hour

As Maintenance Engineer for our client you will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on a wide range of pumps, gearboxes and PLC's. You will be working in a team covering all aspects of both mechanical and electrical breakdowns and installations.

As Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities will involve:

- working with electrical components, single and 3 phase

- mechanical maintenance on pneumatics, bearings, pumps, valves, chains and boilers, CNC machines and water jets

- ensuring that all equipment runs to optimum performance

- liaise with sub contractors and external suppliers

- ensure the waste management system is followed

- support the PPM schedules

As Maintenance Engineer you will need the following:

- either time served or a formal relevant qualification

- experience with steam and thermal boilers

- plc experience

- FLT & IPAF licence would be useful but not essential

- 18th Edition would also be useful but again not essential

Although initially you will be starting on a temporary basis there is an opportunity for this role to go permanent for the right candidate.

Salary: £18.19 - £23.60 ph

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 22:00 - 06:00
