Are you a Tax Assistant looking to work within a team with a reputation for providing excellent client care?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Private Client Department of a well-respected Law Firm in Chelmsford, paying a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. The successful Tax Assistant would be working directly with the Partners in providing tax advisory and compliance services to a varied client base and assisting the fee earners through the Firm with their tax questions. . Responsibilities: As a Tax Assistant, you will…

* Be involved in estate planning, including IHT and CGT

* Provide trust advice and compliance - including tax returns and IHT forms, CGT advice, SLDT advice, estate taxation and the production of declaration of Trusts

* Involves substantial client contact

* Assisting Partners with complex tax planning

Requirements: As a Tax Assistant, you will need…

* Ideally ATT qualified

* Experience within a previous personal tax role

* An understanding of IHT and trusts would be desirable

* Flexible, adaptable and positive attitude
