Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer
Location: Guildford, Crawley, Tunbridge Wells.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 45 Hours Per Week
Salary: £43,139 (Total Salary (Inclusive of 15% LWA Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts
An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experience Fire and Security Technician to join our company, working with one of our major UK retail clients. This role will require you to undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPI’s set by the customer including, but not limited to response, repair, first fix, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works designated to a CCTV engineer is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
* To identify non-repairable faults in equipment and propose corrective course of action.
* To ensure Fire alarm systems are in compliance with BS 5839 and report defects as necessary.
* To respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk during normal hours and when on call.
* To meet and communicate regularly with the Duty Manager on every store visit to advise all repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the store.
Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
* Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
* Ability to maintain and repair a range of Fire, CCTV products and specific EAS systems (Sensormatic)
* IPAF licence holder.
The ideal candidate:
* Full driving license.
* Customer focused.
* Willingness to work flexible hours.
