Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift)
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Salary: £46,050 - £49,271 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Shift Pattern: Night Shift (5 days per week)

Shift Hours: 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

Perform both planned and reactive electrical maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using a logical approach, identifying root causes rather than relying solely on system resets.
Interpret electrical schematics to support maintenance and repair tasks, clearly communicating findings with team members.
Collaborate with production and operational teams to improve machinery performance and anticipate potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, addressing recurring issues to implement long-term solutions.
Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring all work is conducted safely and in accordance with company policies. Requirements

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, ONC, or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Time-served electricians with relevant experience are also welcome.
Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG.
Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with a proactive, logical approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with PLC systems is advantageous but not essential.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset. Shift Details

Hours: 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM, 5 days per week.
Overtime: Opportunities available.
Bank Holidays:
8 bank holidays, with 5 mid-year expected to be worked.
If rostered to work: Double time plus a day back in lieu.
If not rostered to work: Double time only.
No work required on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year’s Day.
