Account Manager Winchester £30/35k (DOE) plus bonus

The Role
We are seeking a full-time professional to join this team in Winchester. Focusing on building and maintaining relationships with an established group of customers throughout the brands. The primary objective is to retain and expand sales within this customer base while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities in the local and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to foster strong relationships with purchasing teams, demonstrating exceptional commercial acumen and building trust to establish our client as the supplier of choice. This role combines Account Management and Business Development, requiring adaptability to tailor customer engagement strategies to meet the specific needs of businesses of varying sizes and expectations.

Skills & Qualifications

Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to connect with business customers of diverse sizes and complexities.
Proactive and Self-Motivated: Capable of engaging with individuals at all levels and skilled in negotiation.
Strong Foundations: Proficiency in English and Math.
Proven Experience: Demonstrable success in Business Development or Account Management.
Interpersonal Excellence: Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Team-Oriented: Ability to thrive within an organised sales structure and collaborate effectively.
Results-Driven: Motivated to achieve and exceed targets.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Driving License: A full, valid driving license is essential for this role.

This is mainly an office-based role just outside of central Winchester. There is also parking on-site.
