Pertemps are hiring Class 1 drivers for our client DHL Nisa based in Scunthorpe and are looking for regular full time C+E Drivers to join the team on a long-term basis. You'll be delivering ambient or frozen goods to Nisa Local and Cost cutter convenience stores, unloading cages filled with goods upon arrival. No need to split the cages on-site, this is done by the staff at the store.

Monday to Friday: £17.13 per hour (overtime after 42 hours at £22.78 per hour
Saturday & Sunday: £19.27 per hour
Minimum guaranteed pay: 42 hrs minimum per week if work 4 shifts
£50 weekly bonus for working four or more shifts.
£10 per day for shifts starting before 4:00 AM

Before you start, you'll need to pass a Class 1 site assessment which is paid on completion and will include a drug and alcohol test (on site urine sample). Multiple choice questionnaire surrounding WTD and general knowledge. Pre checks / Coupling up. Driving assessment on the road. This is then followed by a 5-day induction which is also paid before you go out on the road.

Requirements:

Experience: Category C+E (HGV 1) license – 6 months experience
Certification: Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
Clean Record: No DR10, CD10, IN10, no more than 6 points on your license.
Aged 21 or above.The following position will be suitable for people from the following backgrounds, C+E Drivers, Class 1 Drivers, Class One Driver, HGV Drivers, LGV Driver, HGV 1 Driver, Lorry Driver, Truck Driver.
