We are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for a full-time permanent position on behalf of our client based in Scunthorpe.

This position will entail Electrical & Mechanical maintenance on a variety of food production machinery such as fryers, conveyors, weighers & packaging machinery.

The ideal candidate will have an Electrical/Mechanical background, with previous experience of maintaining & servicing machinery.

Specific machinery training/familiarisation shall be provided.

Our client offers training & progressional opportunities for all Engineer’s looking to develop their capabilities, increase their earnings and to progress into more senior positions within the business.

Package: £50k BASIC (Negotiable) + OVERTIME (1.5X) + COMPANY SICK PAY

Schedule: 4 on 4 off – 12-hour shifts / 2 days / 2 nights

Full Job Description

The role will be based within a food manufacturing facility maintaining a variety of food production machinery such as fryers, bagging machinery, weighers, flavour drums and extruders.

About You:

*

Skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

*

Continuous experience within a food manufacturing-based industry, FMCG or high-speed packaging would be preferred.

*

A good working knowledge of process and packaging equipment – Experience maintaining fryers would be beneficial, but not essential.

*

Broad knowledge and experience of electro-mechanical equipment, maintenance and principles.

*

Demonstrable knowledge of safe-working practices and Continuous Improvement culture.

*

Proactive and forward-thinking mind-set.

*

Experience working with HMI & PLC controlled equipment would be advantageous.

*

Hydraulic and or Pneumatic experience would be advantageous.

Overtime available at x1.5.

*
