MK Search & selection are currently working with a well respected, rapidly expanding M&E contractor who are looking to engage with an electrical site manager to deliver a fast track £5m M&E logistics hub/distribution centre in Newport Wales in partnership with a leading main contractor.

As electrical site manager, you will report in to an M&E project manager and be tasked with taking control of the specialist subcontractors and pushing the programme for the duration of the deliver phase to completion for the duration of the 6 month contract.

The company in question are London based and this is their first venture in the south Wales market, with this in mind they are looking to engage people on a contract basis initially while they continue to tender for more work in the region to move onto after the 6 month project completes.

Reporting into a Senior PM

• Attendance of meetings on-site
• Manage and oversee Mechanical installation works from start until completion, ensuring the work is completed on time and to budget.
• Responsible for Dealing with sub-contractors and trades
• Responsible for QA works for the Mechanical packages
• Responsible for H&S
• Overseeing RAMS
• Progress reports
• Client Liaison

Sign off to pay an attractive day rate on a CIS or Ltd company basis with more work being tendered in the region to move onto shall they be successful
