Teaching Personnel have the role for you!

One of our partnership primary schools in Stockport are looking for proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their team!

In this role you will:

Provide support on a 1:1 and small group basis to children under guidance of the class teacher
Provide 1:1 support to children with special educational needs
To provide support to the class teacher and help to assess children’s learning
Help to produce a safe and engaging learning environment for children
Offer praise and encouragement to children
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous Teaching Assistant experience
A kind and caring personality
The ability to be proactive and show initiative in the classroom
Full time availability during school hours

As part of safer recruitment guidelines, all candidates will be subject to standard vetting checks. Including:

An enhanced DBS- on the update service. This can be applied through Teaching Personnel
Two previous employment references covering the last two years
An overseas police check (if you have been outside the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
