Are you looking for a role in education? Are you already in a teaching assistant role and looking for a change of scenery? We are looking for aspiring or experienced teaching assistants to join our partnership schools in Cardiff!

We are looking for teaching assistants to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. We welcome applications in Welsh and English. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably- we work with a number of Welsh-medium schools who also need support staff throughout the year.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Include:

* Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons

* Preparing and utilising resources around the classroom for each lesson

* Using your own initiative

* Developing literacy, numeracy and communication skills in children

* Providing 1 to 1 support

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

* Can remain calm, confident and engaging

* Have an interest in a multitude of subjects

* Can build a good rapport with pupils

* Have empathetic and nurturing characteristics

Desirable, (but not essential):

* Experience working with children

* An Enhanced DBS Certificate

Pay: £86.00-£95.00 per day

Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
