About the role:

SEN TA: Join a welcoming primary school in Enfield as an SEN Teaching Assistant. Support Early Years students, including those with high-level Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Work 1:1, in small groups, or across the class, tailoring support to individual needs. Experience with non-verbal students and ASD strategies is highly desirable.

Application Requirements for an SEN TA:

• Experience working with SEN children, particularly Early Years.

• Familiarity with ASD strategies and supporting non-verbal students.

• Empathy, patience, and flexibility

.• Strong communication and organizational skills

.• A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities: SEN TA:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including 1:1 and group work

.• Assist with communication and engagement for non-verbal students

.• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.

• Promote students' social, emotional, and academic development

.• Collaborate with teachers and maintain accurate progress records.
