Description

Are you a compassionate and patient individual with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? A welcoming school in Islington is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 3 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the child to support their learning and emotional development.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage social interaction and help the child build confidence in their abilities.Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEMH and/or ASD.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
A calm, nurturing, and empathetic approach.
Availability to start on the 7th of January.What We Offer:
