Job Title: Health & Safety Site Advisor (Ground-Mount Solar)
Location: Midlands / East Midlands (Site-Based)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum

Company Overview
We are a growing renewable energy company specialising in ground-mount solar installations. We are seeking an organised and proactive Health & Safety Site Advisor to ensure that our projects maintain the highest safety standards.

Role Summary
As the on-site Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing all aspects of health and safety. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and promote a positive safety culture on site.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out regular site inspections to identify and address any risks

* Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements

* Deliver inductions and basic training to site personnel on health, safety, and environmental matters

* Liaise with site management and subcontractors to uphold regulatory requirements

* Investigate and report on any accidents, incidents, or near-misses, recommending corrective measures

* Maintain accurate records and ensure all work complies with CDM regulations

Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience in a similar health and safety role, ideally within construction or renewable energy

* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) preferred

* Solid understanding of CDM regulations

* Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail

* A proactive approach and the ability to work under minimal supervision
