Our client, a leading training and education provider, is seeking an Event Manager to join their Amsterdam-based team in the Netherlands.

In this role, you will take full ownership of live in-person, hybrid, and Live Online events across the Netherlands and Europe. From venue sourcing to on-site execution and post-event reporting, you'll manage every detail to deliver exceptional training experiences. You will also plan and oversee customer-specific private events and ensure smooth operations for Live Online training sessions as part of a collaborative global team.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering flexible working arrangements (must be based in the Netherlands), with a salary of up to €40,000.

The Person:

2-5 years' experience in event or venue management and planning.
Proficient in business finance, such as managing event costs and profit and loss.
Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word, and Google Docs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
A team player with emotional maturity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple activities simultaneously.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle high-pressure situations.
Willingness to travel predominantly within Europe.
Fluent in both Dutch and English.Desirable:
