Rydym nawr yn chwilio am Warden Cynorthwyol i ymuno â ni yn rhan amser, gan weithio 400 awr y flwyddyn ar draws penwythnosau a gwyliau banc am gontract tymor penodol o ddwy flynedd.

Y Rôl

Fel Warden Cynorthwyol, byddwch yn patrolio a chynorthwyo ymwelwyr yng Ngogledd Eryri, yn enwedig o amgylch yr Wyddfa.

Yn y rôl hanfodol hon, byddwch yn darparu presenoldeb warden gweladwy yn ystod oriau brig, gan wella profiad yr ymwelydd a chefnogi ein hamcanion hamdden a chadwraeth.

Byddwch yn cynnal patrolau o safleoedd hamdden poblogaidd, yn monitro hawliau tramwy cyhoeddus ac ardaloedd mynediad ac yn darparu gwybodaeth a dehongliad i ddefnyddwyr hamdden.

Yn ogystal, byddwch yn:

- Meithrin perthnasoedd cadarnhaol gyda thrigolion lleol, rheolwyr tir a rhanddeiliaid
- Cynorthwyo gyda chynnal a chadw eiddo parciau
- Cefnogi mynediad, cadwraeth, prosiectau cymunedol ac addysgol
- Gwneud mân atgyweiriadau i gael mynediad i ddodrefn ac eiddo ENPA
- Sicrhau bod offer a cherbydau'n cael eu cynnal a'u cadw'n dda a bod safonau iechyd a diogelwch yn cael eu dilyn

- Y gallu i gyfathrebu yn Gymraeg a Saesneg
- Profiad o ymgysylltu a gweithio gyda'r cyhoedd
- Profiad a gwybodaeth am gerdded mynyddoedd ac arwain grwpiau cerdded
- Gwybodaeth am faterion mynediad a hamdden cyfredol a'u heffaith ar bwrpasau'r Parc Cenedlaethol
- Gwybodaeth am weithgareddau awyr agored
- Bod wedi dilyn Hyfforddiant Arweinwyr Mynydd (Haf) neu hyfforddiant lefel uwch
- Trwydded yrru lawn, ddilys

About Us

Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.

We are now looking for an Assistant Warden to join us on a part-time basis, working 400 hours annually across weekends and bank holidays for a two year fixed term contract.

The Role

As an Assistant Warden, you will patrol and assist visitors in North Eryri, particularly around Yr Wyddfa.

In this vital role, you will provide a visible warden presence during peak times, enhancing the visitor experience and supporting our recreational and conservation objectives.

You will conduct patrols of popular recreation sites, monitor public rights of way and access areas and provide information and interpretation for recreational users.

Additionally, you will:

- Foster positive relationships with local residents, land managers and stakeholders
- Assist with the maintenance of park properties
- Support access, conservation, community and educational projects
- Undertake minor repairs to access furniture and ENPA properties
- Ensure equipment and vehicles are well-maintained and health and safety standards are adhered to

About You

To be considered as an Assistant Warden, you will need:

- The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
- Experience of engaging and working with the public
- Experience and knowledge of mountain walking and guiding walking groups
- Knowledge of current access and recreation issues and their impact on the purposes of the National Park
- Knowledge of outdoor activities
- To have undertaken Mountain Leader Training (Summer) or higher-level training
- A full, valid driving licence
