This role calls for an accomplished Team Leader in the industrial and manufacturing industry who can drive the engineering and manufacturing department forward. The ideal candidate should have a knack for leadership, a solid background in manufacturing, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Description

Ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment and assembly lines within a production area.
Assist management allocating, coordinating and overseeing shift plans are followed and production KPI's are on track
Lead and manage the engineering and manufacturing team
Implement safety and quality control measures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity
Provide technical support and guidance to the team
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policiesProfile

A successful Team Leader should have:

Proven experience in a team leadership role within the manufacturing industry
Mechanical assembly experience and electrical knowledge
Strong knowledge of safety and quality control measures
Excellent communication and team management skills
Ability to drive continuous improvement initiativesJob Offer

£32,000 per annum
Working hours - 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
5% Bonus
Overtime - 1.5 x Mon to Sat and 2 x Sun
