Description

A Mechanical Supervisor is sought to join the Engineering & Manufacturing team in Rugby, providing leadership and overseeing the operational aspects of the department.

Description

Lead and manage the engineering team in Rugby.
Oversee operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
Monitor and control maintenance costs.
Carry out regular inspections to identify and resolve issues.
Provide technical expertise and support to the team.Profile

A successful Mechanical Supervisor should have:

Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of industrial / manufacturing operations and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
2 years' experience Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant would be beneficialJob Offer
