Job Title: SEMH Gymnastics and Trampoline Coach
Location: Harrogate
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £130-£150 per day

Can you motivate pupils with challenging needs via trampolining and gymnastics?

Teacher Active is honoured to be working alongside a specialist SEMH school based in Harrogate. This school provides a stable, comfortable and supportive environment for children with challenging behaviours who may need additional support. This amazing school boasts about their fantastic support network, quality private education, referrals to support services and the additional support they offer families.

The school is looking to employ a motivated, driven and reliable SEMH Gymnastics and Trampoline Coach on a long-term basis, which will could lead permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be working alongside Primary and Secondary schools which will include working with SEMH children, assisting them on trampolines, making sure safety is the number one priority, planning classes and monitoring pupils on the equipment.

The Coach must be resilient, motivated and reliable. They must also have the knowledge and skills to be able to calm pupils down, ensure they're comfortable and have the expertise and confidence to get involved in trampolining and gymnastics.

The successful SEMH Teacher will have:

Trampolining and Gymnastics qualification AND/OR a large amount of experience in trampolining and gymnastics.
Experience teaching Primary and Secondary schools.
Understanding the needs of SEMH pupils.
