We are seeking a Project Development Manager to join an innovative and expanding renewable energy developer. Based in Hamburg, you’ll play a pivotal role in originating, developing, and managing solar PV projects, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to bring them to Ready-to-Build (RTB) stage.

Key responsibilities for the Project Development Manager:

Originate and acquire land plots suitable for utility-scale solar PV projects.
Oversee all phases of project development, ensuring compliance with financing and technical requirements.
Build relationships and negotiate with local authorities, public bodies, and other stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and local partners to deliver RTB projects.
Prepare decision templates, investment memos, and reports to support management in negotiations.
Implement local marketing strategies to support project goals.
The ideal Project Development Manager will:

Be fluent in German (native or advanced level) and English (company language).
Have 3–5 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy project development.
Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Be comfortable working under pressure with strict deadlines and budgets.
Have a degree in engineering, economics, or a related field (an MSc is a plus).
