Mechanical Fitter
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (plus benefits and overtime potential)
Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

Total Hours: 38 hours per week

Overtime: Available on Saturdays (1.5x pay) and Sundays (2.0x pay)

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter:

Perform high-quality component and specialist sub-assemblies.

Read, interpret, and work from detailed engineering drawings.

Operate and maintain various machine shop equipment.

Take a proactive and solutions-driven approach to tasks and challenges as a Mechanical Fitter.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Strong background in mechanical fitting; additional electrical fitting skills are highly advantageous.

Proven experience in building special-purpose or bespoke machinery.

Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a forward-thinking team environment.
