Production Team Lead - Med Tech

Our client, one of the worlds most recognisable businesses is looking to add to their rapidly growing production team in Dublin.

This is an ideal role of an ambitious self starter who has a background in production or manufacturing and is keen to push their career on, at the pinnacle of the medical technology industry. In this position you will be asked to lead a highly skilled team while liaising with site senior leadership to ensure best in class product quality and site efficiency.

Responsibilities

To be accountable for all aspects of the team's performance. Working with support functions to ensure that the customer needs are met at all times
Implement schedules, methods and processes, allocate manpower and resources, identify problems and provide solutions and improvements in their respective process.Goals

Focus on multi-skilling and cross training of team.
Assist in setting and achieving team objectives, identify, execute and manage training and development needs
Through positive leadership, serve as a role model for the team
Meet the production schedules and customer scheduled delivery dates.
Strive for continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with other team leaders to maintain consistent standards.Experience

2-5 years in a similar manufacturing environment.
Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, planning, problem solving skills are required.
Knowledge and experience of our Materials/Inventory planning systems is essential.
